Golden Teacher Mushroom Kit, a magical mushroom strain, first appeared on the market in the late 1980s. Its origin and discoverer are unclear, but the reason for its name is evident. The hats are golden in hue and have the ability to give you new viewpoints.
Fresh Mushrooms’ magic mushroom grow kits include just 1200ml of colonized rye. When the kit comes at your door, it is ready to grow; all you need is a little patience to cultivate your own mushrooms.
HOW TO GROW FRESH MUSHROOMS KITS
Here are our simple and easy instructions for growing your mushrooms using the Fresh Mushrooms Grow Kit. Follow these instructions precisely.
Growing mushrooms with a Fresh Mushrooms Grow Kit is as simple as it gets. These kits need very little care because to a thoroughly colonized substrate. There is no need to soak or spray them before the initial flush. All you need are the proper growth conditions and some perseverance!
Important:
- These kits are 100% ready to grow.
- DO NOT submerge them for a soak.
- DO NOT spray the kits – you can just leave them in the bag without opening it.
- DO NOT use aluminium foil when growing mushrooms; it is not necessary for these kits.
- DO NOT breath into the bag.
- ALWAYS wash hands before working with a grow kit.

STEP 1Remove the Fresh Mushrooms box from the cardboard box, but do not discard the cardboard box! Remove the plastic container’s lid. Wash it under running water and keep it handy for future flushes. |

STEP 2Place the grow bag on a level surface and insert the grow kit. Fold the bag beneath the grow kit and make sure the tiny perforation is facing upwards and slightly above the cake. Then, to prevent light from the sides, place the whole assembly in the original cardboard box. By tucking the bag beneath the grow kit, you have effectively closed the bag and eliminated the need for air movement. |

STEP 3Place in a well-lit region with temperatures ranging from 18°C to 28°C. DO NOT expose to direct sunlight. Although mushrooms will grow in this temperature range, the best temperature to maintain for optimal yields is 23°C. If you live in a chilly climate, a grow kit heating pad may assist. Mushrooms thrive best under indirect sunlight. Note: A grow kit heating mat can support the growing process, but it won’t make up for a room temperature that’s too low. |

STEP 4When the first pins form, you may flip the grow bag over and set it upright. There is no need to spray again. After 1-3 weeks, the first mushrooms should appear. |

STEP 5When the first caps are plainly visible, the bag must be left slightly open to allow excess moisture to evaporate. Excessive dampness may be damaging to mushrooms. |
Mushrooms, fresh Grow Kits may soon generate their initial flush. Typically, the first pinheads develop after 1-3 weeks. Once the caps emerge, mushrooms normally take 1 week to completely mature.
HARVESTING
When it comes to harvesting your Fresh Mushrooms Grow Kit, cleanliness is crucial. When harvesting, wash your hands and forearms well with disinfecting soap and use sterile gloves. It is critical that you pick your mushrooms before the veils behind the mushroom caps break. If you don’t harvest them before this point, the kit will most likely stop producing flushes!
Grab the base of the stem and twist and pull the mushroom away with a careful motion. It is critical to twist rather than just pull, since this may harm the mycelium and have a bad influence on the following flush. The stems may become purple after harvesting. This is known as bruising, and it is not cause for concern. Actually, it demonstrates the power of the Flesh of the Gods!
STORING YOUR GROW KIT
Because this is a new product, it is strongly advised that you begin growing as soon as you get your kit. Unless you have no other option, we do not advocate keeping your gear. A grow kit may be viable if kept in a refrigerator at 3-5°C. It might last up to four weeks here, but there’s no certainty. To reduce the chance of contamination, place the kit in a sealed, clean plastic bag.

STEP 6ADDITIONAL HARVESTSThese kits do not provide a single crop of mushrooms. It is possible to have many flushes. To do so, after finishing your first harvest, fill the tub with cold tap water; this is called as cold-shock and reinvigorates the mycelium. Replace the lid on the tub (if you kept it as we advised). Now soak in the tub for 12 hours. After 12 hours, gently open a corner of the lid and remove excess water. Don’t be concerned if there is virtually no water remaining. Because this is a natural product, the quantity of extra water may vary from kit to kit. All that remains is to clean and store the lid before repeating step 2. You should be well on your way to another abundant harvest of magical delight! This procedure may be performed many times. |
